Our mission is to empower women survivors of domestic abuse by offering safe, long-term housing, educational opportunities, therapeutic support, and life skills training to help them achieve lasting independence and build a brighter future.
-
Safe, Supportive Housing
Our aim to provide and nurturing environment for up to 20 women and their children, where participants can heal from trauma and plan for their future without fear of where they will sleep each night.
-
Healing
We offer group counseling sessions to help participants resolve trauma, build self-esteem, and develop effective coping strategies. Additionally, we encourage individual therapy and provide self-reflection tools to foster personal growth.
-
Life Skills Training
We offer workshops that focus on essential skills such as financial literacy, parenting, nutrition, and job readiness, empowering participants to live independently and confidently.
-
Educational Support
We provide mentors who will ensure participants have access to GED preparation, vocational training, and assistance with enrolling in community college or other educational programs.
-
Legal Advocacy
We provide case managers who support participants in navigating the legal system, helping them to obtain restraining orders and pursue custody of their children.
-
Community Education
We conduct workshops and other teaching materials in the community to raise awareness about domestic violence and the resources available to victims
